Nigerians are passing through serious economic quagmire, bible call it famine-Prophet Anene

The annual five-day programme of the RHEMA Deliverance Mission, Lagos, ‘Let Me Pass’ which began on Wednesday, August 3, came to a successful close on Sunday, August 6, 2023. It was a unique moment when God showcased His mighty power upon his faithful ones through his servant, Prophet (Bishop) Anene Nwachuckwu (Oracle 1). In this interview with CYRIACUS NNAJI, the man of God speaks on some burning national issues. Excerpts:

Let’s meet

My name is Prophet Anene Nwachukwu, General Overseer RHEMA Deliverance Mission, Lagos.

This programme has been on for the past four days, can you just tell us what the experience has been like?

This programme started Wednesday, August 3, till today, August 6, and we must appreciate God for the wonderful presence he has shown us, starting since Wednesday. The programme can be described as being classic. Let Me Pass means that every year, we need to stop all those who are standing as an obstacle to our progress, who we use prayers, prophecies, and the word to destroy.

This year’s programme, there are instant reports, how do you feel about it, what makes this year’s programme so special among other Let-Me-Pass programmes?

The bible says in the days of his power the people shall be willing, and if you are willing and obedient, you shall eat from the fruit of the land, Isaiah 1:19. You see many people came with high expectations and with faith, I am not the miracle worker, Jesus is, and when your faith is connected, because faith that is not absolute is not potent, but when faith becomes absolute in Christ Jesus, such is inevitable, those who came believing God that things will turn around, God answered and visited them, and we prayed that there should be instant miracles, and God honoured our words, and we had instant miracles. So we still believe God that this year’s own is such a classic and extraordinary one, that, even those that attended as they are going their miracles will still happen.

Which of the miracles would you say is the most remarkable of all the testimonies that we have heard in this programme, Let Me-Pass?

There is a young man here, everybody you see here, were part of it, he had some spinal issues, spinal cord injury, I located him and prayed for him, he couldn’t stand for five minutes, but by the special grace of God we prayed for him, he got his healing and he was able to run in the hall, and after that he met me and said he has never seen this kind of thing before. And of course, you were witnesses to the testimonies of today, a young man I prophesy to, just under one week, 24 hours God answered him, he said he has been looking for native doctors who can help him remove the aunt in his family, who stood against everybody like a Sihon, the Amorite King, who stood against the Israelites, so somebody introduced him here; he came, I located him and I said to him that that aunt, because I call names, I mentioned her name, I said she must go, and one of his uncle must go, and after prophesying to him, he said he received a call that two of them have gone. Of course you witnessed it here. He has been to so many places, native doctors. You know the bible says whatever that is not planted by God must be uprooted, so anybody that is standing against us is not from God, it must go down.

Israelites were able to pass because they brought down King Sihon, if King Sihon was not brought down the Israelites would not pass, and if you must pass you must be ready to fight, there is a battle to fight, any position without opposition is worthless, everybody you see here has position in Christ that is why we have a lot of opposition and I am sure those oppositions are surmountable. We would defeat them, I have given them the mantle to defeat their enemies, and that mantle is, I gave them Holy Communion, with that Holy Communion, no charm can work in their body again, and by the special grace of God, you will see testimonies from now of what God has done.

Oracle the country is passing through social, political and economic quagmire; in what way can the masses of this country benefit from Let-Me-Pass?

Nigeria is passing through a very turbulent period, and if you look at the situation in the land, you see that the change we all prayed for has not come, and we are believing God and God is not keeping quiet over Nigerian affairs. Of course there is somebody already there, who is the current president of Nigeria. Whether INEC declared him or whether he won, he is Nigeria’s president, and we must abide by the principles and standards he is setting for now, and we continue to pray, if it is the will of God he will be there, if it is not the will of God, God knows how to remove him. But Nigerians are passing through another phase of serious economic quagmire, crisis, the bible call it famine, transportation in Lagos State, you know, you cannot pass through Igando Road or Mile Two/Orile Road without staying at least 30 minutes in the holdup, but you see today there is no more holdup, as a result of economic hardship. So we are still praying that God of increase will increase us and stop this crisis in our land.  We are still praying because the bible says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, if the people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face and pray, God says I will hear from heaven and I will heal the land. We are praying that Nigeria must be healed, it must.

Do you think it is right for Nigeria to go to war against Niger over military takeover in that land?

I am strictly against such a war. Nigeria is not supposed to go to war against Niger. That is economic and human waste. Number one, in our country we have war already. We have not finished with them. Boko Harams are there, soldiers should go there, we have banditry and robbery and cattle rustlers in the north, kidnappers, they are there in Zamfara, Sokoto, Kano, Katsina maiming and killing in Jos, our soldiers if they are less busy they should go to those places and sanitize those environments for Nigeria. We have the unknown gunmen in the east, government knows where they are, even individuals know where they are, they are not hidden, so soldiers should be mobilized to go and stop those things. We have no need of going to war in Niger. Number one, Nigeriens have told the international community and the world that they are happy with the soldiers. You can’t be more Catholic than the Pope. You cannot be more RHEMA than the Oracle. It is me that will tell you who I want to rule me. The soldiers said that President Muhamad Bazoum who was ousted has destroyed the economy of the nation, and since the soldiers came in, some of the things that were not working have started working, and you are telling us that you are coming to Niger to do war for us, they went out to the streets in the whole Niger and marched on the streets and condemned the planned invasion of their country by ECOWAS.  They don’t want Tinubu in Niger.

So you can’t be talking about going to war in Niger when we already have war in Nigeria, and we have not finished our war. We should be able to war against Boko Haram, Banditry, unknown gun men. In our country, yes we acknowledge that he is the president of ECOWAS, but there are other means for them to dialogue because that war you see will enter Nigeria. Automatically, Bukina Faso has joined Niger, Mali has joined Niger and we heard that part of France are supporting them. So there is no need because if you go there to fight them, the last one now is that, we heard that they are trying to connect to Putin, so all these things will not mean well for us. If you throw any bomb in Nigeria, it is the ordinary citizen that will be killed, because you cannot be fighting a man and he would fold his hand watching, he would react, are you getting it? So there is no need for that, let us first finish our election matters, finish about Boko Haram before we talk about going to war in Niger. In proverbs they say he who his house is on fire does not pursue rat, our house is on fire, we don’t need to pursue rat; we should pursue the fire.

The election petition tribunal will soon deliver judgement, what do you advise Nigerians on how to react if the judgement goes either way?

We believe that our justices are credible, in assumption, and we are anticipating that the tribunal will do justice to the case, because the evidence we are seeing in the court is overwhelming, very very overwhelming, I am not a judge, and I don’t know how to judge election matters, but we are believing God that the judges will do justice to the case, and we are believing God that whatever that is the outcome will be 100% acceptable to Nigerians, and we are praying that the outcome will be free and fair and credible.
