Traveling Agency condoles Canadian embassy over death of its workers in Abuja

A traveling Agency, TMT Travels and Tours Limited has condoled with the Canadian government over the unfortunate burning of part of its embassy in Abuja and the death of its two workers in the process.

Reacting to the development in Owerri, the Imo state capital, on Sunday, the Chief Executive Officer of the Traveling Agency, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, said that the development was a serious setback for the embassy in Abuja.

He said that apart from the materials and resources lost in the inferno, the death of thetwo workers of the embassy was most devastating.

Onukwubiri, said that TMT Travels and Tours Limited shared in the grief and sense of loss the Canadian embassy in Abuja was currently passing through now.

He also highlighted the delay it may cost citizens of Nigeria seeking to get Canadian visas and travel in due time.

Onukwubiri, said ” we at TMT Travels and Tours Limited shares in the grief and sense of loss of the Canadian embassy in Abuja. The partial burning of the Canadian embassy in Abuja and the death of two workers there was most unfortunate.

“Canada as a major player in the Nigeria’s Travel and Tours business is an integral player in Nigeria’s economy. We know how devastating this unfortunate incident to them but we want to say that we stand with them in this time and always. We specially condole with the families of the two persons who died in the process.

” To those whose dream of traveling to Canada might had been temporarily delayed by this accident, we urge you not to lose hope. Everything shall be alright. It is our desire that this fire outbreak will not affect the operations of the Embassy in Abuja.”
