Movement for Greater Anambra State on Tuesday commended Gov Charles Soludo on the feat he has achieved in office.
The Convener of the group, Chief Shedrack Anakwue(Oro) made this commendation during a visit to the Special Adviser to the Anambra State governor on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu at Government House Awka.
The group noted that Anambra State has witnessed some measure of progress since the incumbent governor came on board.
“As a support group, we are ready to work for Gov Charles Soludo because of his record achievements, he is building durable roads, we are satisfied with the some appointments he has made so far.
“The appointment of Special Adviser to Governor on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu is a round peg in a round hole, so also is election of Anambra State Chairman of APGA, the emergence of the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly is a welcome development, some persons appointed as Commissioners are fit for their jobs,” he said.
In his welcome remarks, the Special Adviser to Anambra State governor on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu noted that Nigeria is drifting negatively without consideration for the masses.
He pointed out the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) was set up to be the mouth piece of Ndị-Igbo noting that he has never for once condemned the spirit of APGA but poor governance.
Dr Obiogbolu said categorically that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) never had love for Ndị-Igbo, adding that his former party is a very difficult terrain to operate.
He solicited support for Gov Charles Soludo in his efforts to build a prosperous and liveable homeland.
