CSO commends sincerity, dedication of Nigeria military leadership, personnel

The National Equality and Justice Forum on Tuesday commended the Armed Forces of Nigeria for it’s sincerity, dedication and commitment to a peaceful and stable country.

The group in a press release on Tuesday commended the recent media parley the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Chris Musa had with Defence Correspondents, and said it reflects their total commitment towards their mandate.

The press release signed by President of the Forum, Elder Venatius Obi and Secretary, Mallam Gambo Shema said the media briefing reveals a CDS committed to the peace of the country and welfare of his personnel.

The National Equality and Justice Forum said the Armed Forces of Nigeria under Gen. Musa continue to show cohesion in tackling the security challenges in the country.

The forum said “Troops are successfully rescuing kidnapped victims and dealing with unrepentant bandits and terrorists.

“From the NAF air strikes are obliterating the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) terrorists and criminals across the country.

“While Operatives of the Nigerian Navy are successfully arresting oil thieves and securing our maritime domain.

“Like the CDS said, securing Nigeria is not just for the Armed Forces of Nigeria, but for all citizens.

“The National Equality and Justice Forum will continue to use it’s platform to continue to solicit the support and cooperation of all in ensuring the security challenges is a thing of the past.

“The sacrifices of our troops will never be in vain, we must support and encourage them,” the Forum added.
