Umenzekwe, APC Chieftain, felicitates Nigerians on Christmas, says peaceful co-existence critical

Hon. Chief Modestus Umenzekwe (Onwa Achina), a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again shown his love for the nation as he has felicitated Nigerians on this year’s Christmas celebration, commending them for keeping the peace in the nation.

In a Christmas message which he sent out to the media from Awka, Anambra State, Umenzekwe wished the country a very peaceful Yuletide, while also thanking God for keeping Nigeria as one indivisible entity.

Umenzekwe while wishing the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu well, he also lauded him for holding the nation as one even as he continues to take hard but necessary decisions to rescue the country from so many challenges. He also thanked the governors in the 36 states of Nigeria irrespective of political persuasion for their tenacity of purpose in keeping Nigeria as one.

He said “I must thank the President, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for holding this country as one. I also commend him for his quality leadership, taking hard decisions, all in the interest of Nigerians.”

Umenzekwe urged the state Governors to continue the good work they are doing all over the nation.

Also widely known as Ezechimereze, Umenzekwe used the opportunity to pray for the national assembly led by the President of the Senate, the Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio and his counterpart, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeebn Abbas for their legislative acumen geared toward enacting quality laws for the nation.

He also did no forget to pray for all the ministers. He urged for cooperation among both the governors and the ministers to work together in tandem with the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to move that country forward.

Umenzekwe extended his prayers to both the Christians and Moslems alike, and prayed for cordiality and peaceful coexistence in the country.
