The Zinariyan of Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has congratulated His Royal Highness (HRH), Alhaji Gambo Kabir on his appointment as the new Maigari of Lokoja by the outgoing Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
In a congratulatory message made available to Journalists, Dr Aliyu described the traditional ruler as best for the role, considering his wealth of knowledge in traditional affairs as well as his diligence in public service.
She said, “On behalf of myself and my family, I heartily congratulate His Royal Highness (HRH), Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi on his appointment as the Maigari of Lokoja.
“As the Fourth Successor to the Maikarfi Dynasty, you have not only acquired proven knowledge deserving and suiting for royalty, but have attained envious heights in public service as a result of your high level of Education, a balance that sets you on a path of excellent leadership.”
The Kogi Princess expressed optimism that with Alhaji Gambo Kabir as the new Maigari of Lokoja, there would be a positive turn of things in favour of the Lokoja people.
“I am confident that both the indigenes and residents of Lokoja will experience a paradigm that reflects your outstanding personality geared towards peace and progress,” she said.
“It is my prayer that the Almighty gives you long life and wisdom as you take up the revered appointment as the Maigari Of Lokoja,” Dr Aliyu therefore added.
