The Action For the Rights and Responsibilities of Citizens (AFORRC) has called on Nigerian citizens to hold their leaders accountable to their campaign promises and constitutional mandate.
AFORRC’s Chief Crusader, Dr. Eric Oluedo, gave the charge in Enugu while briefing newsmen on the latest musical songs produced by the organization for the purposes of crusading for the rights and responsibilities of the citizens.
He stated, “this is the only way a responsible government can live up to it’s responsibilities and deliver to the citizens their rights”.
AFORRC said it noted with dismay that some citizens deliberately formed the habit of criticizing the good policies, programme and projects of the government for no just cause.
The organization cautioned that such undue criticisms is capable of discouraging the speed, scope and scale of project delivery of the citizens right by the government.
