Crypto Currency Boss Cries Out, Alleges Threat to Life

An Abuja based crypto currency boss, public speaker, venture capitalist, entrepreneur and founder of Kumo Africa, Mr. Tega Abikure has cried out from his hideout, alleging threat to life.

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kumo Africa, Africa’s first crypto currency bank had gone missing two weeks ago with many speculating that he was kidnapped.

However, Mr. Tega Abikure has confirmed his safety, having escaped his abductors whose criminal intent seems to yet be ascertained, but however not a kidnap-for-ransom situation as speculated.

Even though he has miraculously escaped, there are still genuine concerns for his overall safety as it’s not clear whether his abductors were only criminals or a coordinated attack by competitors and business partners to run him out of business now that the federal government has okayed crypto trading and virtual assets service in Nigeria.

As at press time, Mr. Tega Abikure who is still in hiding after a dehumanizing encounter with men of the underworld, including the confiscation of vital work tools suspected to hold some vital data, has continued to receive threats to his life via calls and text messages.

He however, expressed confident that the relevant security agencies investigating the matter will get the culprits to account for their deeds.

Recall the brother, Oseghe Michael had filled a case of missing person at the FCT Police command urging the police Commissioner and his men to use his good offices to help locate Mr Tega Abikure.
