Soludo not a regular politician

From Isaac Ojo, Awka

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Gov.  Chukwuma Soludo on Political Matters, Hon Engr Ezekiel Nwokoye, has said that the Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo is not a regular politician but a generational gift to Ndi-Anambra.

He said that the governor has brought his Professorship in Economics to reflect in his administration as demonstrated through the construction and completion Urum-Amansea-Ufuma road.

He noted that the completion of many roads in the state’s agrarian communities has opened up the areas as it is now easy for people to transport their farm produce from the farm to the urban centers.

“Anambra West LGA is a typical agrarian economy, no governor has ever visited has ever visited some communities in the council area but Gov Soludo did using boat, okada and keke to navigate his way.

“The recently constructed roads has made it possible for vehicles to run from Obaofemili-Amansea-Ufuma, the new development has totally positively transformed the economy of the benefitting communities as business is booming for the indegenes and investors all thanks to the Professor of Economics who by all standards is not a regular politician.

“Everything has appreciated in Obaofemili-Amansea-Ufuma axis, a plot of land that used to go for as low as two hundred thousand Naira in those areas has jumped to over a million Naira, this is because of the simple fact that now that the roads are opened up, development has started cropping up in those hitherto sleepy communities.

“If the Professor of Economic is not adding value to the system, the federal government will not seek for his input by being appointed as high profile member of the nation’s Economic Team.

Hon Nwokoye appealed to Ndi-Anambra and residents alike to key into the vision and mandate of Prof Charles Soludo who is not a regular politician but a generational gift and genius.
