some members of the Northern Senators Forum (NSF) have condemned Sen. Abdul Ningi for alleging that the 2024 budged was padded by about Ntrillion, stressing that their leader was on his own and not speaking for them.
Shortly after Ningi’s suspension and the adjournment of the Senate, Akpabio and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, paid a visit to Aso Rock Villa for a meeting with President Tinubu.
Details of the closed-door meeting was not made available to the press, but it is believed to be an update of the president by the National Assembly leaders on the events in the legislative house, particularly the assurance of their support to the executive after the sanction meted on Ningi.
