A new international school, Abuja World Academy, is set to commence academic activities in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The school, which is set to revolutionize education in Nigeria, would have its grand opening of its state-of-the-art campus in September 2024.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr. Joe Daly,
Head of School, Abuja World Academy, which was made available to newsmen.

“Managed and operated by the United Kingdom OFSTED accredited The Regent School, Abuja World Academy is similarly focused on offering the highest standard of education in an exciting educational environment dedicated to fostering the holistic development of every learner.
“Situated in a cutting-edge facility, Abuja World Academy is committed to setting the highest standard of education in the region.
“The first intake of students starting September 2024, will be from the Pre-Playgroup stage through to Year 9. Ultimately the school will accommodate students from Early Years through to Year 11, with students ranging from 18 months to 17 years old.
” The facilities are set for completion in June 2024 with the commencement of the new academic year in September 2024. The impressive campus has a total land area of 3 hectare.”
According to the statement, “two highly experienced British educators will lead the school. Mrs. Dominique Dyer, the Executive Headteacher has had many years of Leadership in schools in the United Kingdom. She joins us with some years of school leadership experience in Nigeria, as Head of Abuja Preparatory School.
