Being overwhelmed by his rising popularity and national rating, comic actor and internet sensation, Anthony Odunze popularly known as Prophet Rolex, says he’s naturally endowed as a comedian.
Prophet Rolex who has millions of followers on various social media platforms, said that comedy is his life.
Speaking with Journalists in Owerri, the Imo State capital on Friday expressed gratitude to Almighty God for creating him a comedian, noting that he is also impressed that his comic displays are putting smiles on the faces of millions of people.
According to the youthful comedian, ” I don’t know If I could have done any other thing outside comedy. God intentionally created me a comedian. I am happy, God is using me to put smiles on faces of people despite the challenges of life. I feel grateful with messages of commendations and gratitude I receives on daily bases from people on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok pages. It gladdens my heart and motivates me to do more.
‘ I was born a comedian. It is a special gift from God to me. Comedy lives in me. I didn’t learn it. But I think, acting constantly have improved my skills. I am happy because most people says they get healed and relieved of their burdens while watching my skits.
“Being international and trying not to compete with anybody have helped my career a lot. From my small thing in Orlu in Imo state and now in Owerri, I am glad I am making millions to smile and laugh away their sorrows and pains. However, it’s not yet uhuru”.
