The lawmaker representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji-river federal constituency,vEngr.Anayo Onwu, has congratulated the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah and the newly elected Enugu State People’s Democratic Party Chairman, Dr Martin Chukwunweike and the entire executives for a peaceful and smooth conduct of the PDP State congress.
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media, Sam Orjiako, made available to newsmen, the lawmaker lauded the leadership quality of Governor Peter Mbah and the peaceful conduct of PDP faithful which led to a successful congress that produced great men and women who will lead the party in Enugu state to laudable heights.
Hon. Onwuegbu enjoined all party members and the executives at all level to support and partner with Governor Mbah in his ongoing efforts to expand the economy and infrastructure base of Enugu State.
He called for support to the newly elected state party executives in the task of reuniting repositioning the party to greater heights.
Hon. Onwuegbu expressed confidence and trust in the leadership capacity of the newly elected Chairman Dr. Martin Chukwunweike, his Deputy Barr. Steve Oruruo, the party Secretary Chukwudi Nnadozie and others, hoping that their emergence will bring about more growth as and retain Enugu State as a‘PDP’ State that it has ever been.
