Heeba Foundation Founder, Barrister Fatima Abdu, Leads Humanitarian Efforts in Flood-Ravaged Borno

In response to the devastating floods that have ravaged several communities in Borno State, Barrister Fatima Abdu, Founder of Heeba Foundation, has embarked on a humanitarian mission to provide succor to the affected populations.

On Tuesday, Barrister Abdu led a team from Heeba Foundation to distribute essential relief materials, including mosquito nets, drugs, sanitary wares, and food items, to flood-affected families in various Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps and host communities.

The donation, aimed at alleviating the suffering of the victims, is part of Heeba Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support vulnerable populations in Nigeria.

Barrister Abdu, while presenting the relief materials, appealed to well-meaning Nigerians to join forces in ameliorating the plight of the flood victims. “We must come together to support our brothers and sisters in this difficult time. Every contribution, no matter how small, counts.”

She commended the swift response and leadership of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, in managing the crisis. “Governor Zulum’s proactive measures have saved countless lives and mitigated the impact of the floods. We appreciate his commitment to the welfare of the people.”

The beneficiaries, who received the donations with gratitude, expressed their appreciation for Heeba Foundation’s timely intervention.

Heeba Foundation remains committed to providing humanitarian support to vulnerable populations, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and disaster response.

The foundation urges individuals, organizations, and government agencies to join forces in supporting the flood-affected communities in Borno State.
