A group, undee the aegis of Uba Sani Legacy Projects Solidarity Assembly (ULEPSA), has lauded Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for his historic commitment to completing unfinished road projects inherited from his predecessor, as well as approving an N800 million payment overdue as staff welfare at the Kaduna State Water Corporation (KADSWAC).
The group made this known in Kaduna over the weekend in a media statement signed by its Director of Strategic Communication, Comrade Musa Garba Kachia.
They explained that the governor’s allocation of a sweeping 33 billion naira to finish key infrastructure projects not only addresses governance continuity but also fosters economic growth and restores public trust.
“This strategic move is a bold statement of leadership that prioritizes citizens’ needs over politics.”
They also noted that the approval for staff welfare, which has been pending for over a decade, is expected to boost morale and enhance operational efficiency at KADSWAC.
ULEPSA, in the statement, commended the efforts as a clear demonstration of Governor Uba Sani’s dedication to the sustainable development of Kaduna State.
The group, in the statement, urged politicians in the country to borrow from Senator Uba Sani’s ability to “put the people and development projects above politics,” describing the governor’s latest actions as
“breaking away from the inglorious past culture of elected leaders abandoning precessors’ legacies for selfish political reasons”.
