Miss Face of Humanity (MFOH) Nigeria, a prominent pageant organiser, has reaffirmed its dedication to raising changemakers and positively impacting the lives of vulnerable individuals across the country.
Speaking during a one-day stakeholders’ dialogue on the rights of indigent persons in Abuja on Wednesday, MFOH National Director, Blessing Inyang, emphasized the organisation’s mission to go beyond crowning beauty queens.
The event, themed “Empowering Indigents: Building Sustainable Solutions,” was described as a crucial platform for fostering sustainable development.
Inyang emphasised the importance of creating an inclusive space for dialogue and fostering impactful partnerships to address the challenges faced by vulnerable communities.
“We are not just here to crown beauty queens; we are here to cultivate leaders, advocates, and changemakers,” Inyang stated.
“This forum is about engaging with key stakeholders, sharing insights, and exploring collaborative efforts to address the rights of indigents,” she added.
Inyang stressed the need for collaboration across various sectors to amplify MFOH Nigeria’s impact, calling for partnerships with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, private sector entities, and the diplomatic community to achieve the organization’s vision.
“It is through collaboration with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, private sector partners, and the diplomatic community that we can achieve our vision,” she noted.
During the dialogue, Inyang celebrated MFOH Nigeria’s recent accolade as “Pageant Organisation of the Year” at
at the 2023 Pageant Analysts Annual Awards.
She called the accolade a testament to the dedication of her team and the organization’s mission to champion changemakers in Nigeria.
The director highlighted notable achievements over the past year, including the accomplishments of the reigning MFOH Nigeria Queen, Ambassador Rita Chika Ezenwa.
Recall that Ezenwa was named “Beauty Queen of the Year” at the 2023 Golden Stars Awards and “Humanitarian Queen of the Year” at the 2024 Nigeria Women Achievers Awards. Her international recognition included reaching the top seven at the Miss Face of Humanity International Showcase in Mexico.
“These accolades are not just titles but affirmations of the work we are doing to uplift humanity and advocate for change,” Inyang said.
The dialogue was attended by representatives from the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons; the FCT Department on Higher Education; the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights; and the House Committee on Human Rights.
