Prowess University, Delaware, USA an institutional partner of Institute of Arts Management and Professional Studies, IAMPS, Nigeria in conjunction with Esther Thelfid Foundation, ETF on Saturday 23rd November conferred Excellence in Leadership Awards on prominent citizens who have impacted lives and institutions within the Abuja community.
According to Chinwe Esther Aganekwu, Proprietor, Esther Thelfid Foundation at the award conferment ceremony and health summit, the 2024 version came after a careful review of impactful leaders and successful businesses and the awardees were chosen for empowering the less privileged through scholarships, medical bills, livelihood/sustenance giving and compassion.
The highly elated awardees with their families and well wishers converged at the Nicon Luxury hotel, Abuja venue of the award conferment ceremony and health summit.
The Chairman of the event, Barr. Chukwuemeka Ezeh and some special invitees which include Elder Emmanuel Nwafor, Pastor Festus Nnadike, Messrs Anaeto Umeano and Dan Okoro graced the high table with their presence.
Prof. Eze Chidi Nwauba, representative of the Prowess University, USA, while conferring the awards stated that the recognition of individuals with high integrity in their various calls of human endeavour forms the bedrock of the award conferment and urged the recipients to be proud of the honour because the university is profound citadel of learning in the USA.
Engnr. Dan Okorie of Ionized Kangen Water who delivered the summit lecture titled, “The Science of Hydration and its Role in Disease Prevention and Management in Nigeria,” harped on the benefits of drinking alkaline improved water for super hydration and detoxification to boost body immunity, rejuvenation of cancer cells and promote fast healing as well as induce good sleep and normalize high blood pressure.
The first batch of the awardess were those who received the EstherThelfid Foundation award for 2024 incude Mr. Martin Mary Falana, Apostle Blessing Agwaza, Mrs. Ijeoma Nwaubani and Pastor Bisong Pius Otu. Others are Mr. Ajiboye Rex Olusegun and Comrade Mark J. Nsimbehe.
Leading the list of the Prowess University USA, Honourary Doctorate Degree awardees are Mrs. IFeoma Lilian Agu, Amb. Obi Stella and Mrs. Lynda Neto-Umeano.
The climax was the EstherThelfid Foundation honour to three amazing doctors of general eye section at the Asokoro General hospital for the great Philanthropic work they do for humanity.
Santadone rendered two of his patriotic songs, “Bless Nigeria” and “Love Nigeria” to liven up the event to the applause of the appreciative audience.
