Umahi’s talks in France ‘ll strengthen road infrastructure dev’t – Aide

The Special Adviser (media) to the Minister of Works, Uchenna Orji has said talks by David Umahi at the just concluded France trip will strengthen the ongoing infrastructure development roadmap in the country.

Umahi was among Nigeria’s delegation that joined Tinubu to France for talks on infrastructure cooperation between Nigeria and France and other strategic areas.

A statement by Umahi’s aide on Thursday, said the trip provided more opportunities for the minister to discuss investment issues and bilateral possibilities between the two countries.

It explained that the minister anchored his discussion on special ways of sustainable investment in the transportation landscape that will connect Nigeria to the world and foster diversification, economic independence, and self sustenance.

According to the statement, Mr. President’s political will to accelerate the completion of inherited road projects awarded by previous administrations would boost trade, agriculture, trousim, hospitality and other industrial areas including social cultural integration.

The statement read, ” Hon. Dave Umahi outing to France was strategic in the road infrastructure development roadmap of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration.

“Is walking the talk in its unwavering commitment towards stimulating sustainable economic growth through aggressive road infrastructure development.

“The four Renewed Hope Legacy Projects of Mr. President, for all intent and purposes will be a masterstroke for Nigeria’s economic prosperity.

“It is a sustainable investment in the transportation landscape that will connect Nigeria to the world and foster diversification, economic independence, and self sustenance.

“With Mr. President’s political will to accelerate the completion of inherited road projects awarded by previous administrations and his bold and visionary initiative to build world-class superhighways to effectively and sustainably connect our trade, agriculture, tourism, hospitality and industrial corridors,as well as enhance social-cultural integration, we can be sure that the hope for greater future for Nigeria is assured”.
