Deeper Life begins new evangelism drive

By Daniel Tyokua

The Deeper Life Bible Church has begun a new evangelism drive to bring more unsaved souls to Christ in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Launching the initiative called ‘Operation Save A Soul (SAS) during a combined Sunday Worship service at Kado, the church headquarters in Abuja, pastor Adeniyi Hassan, FCT state overseer, said the idea would redirect the focus of members on being strategic in preaching the gospel of Christ.

He explained that SAS will encourage members to actively evangelise in public spaces such as markets, schools, and bus stops to win at least one soul for the Kingdom of God.

Hassan said the new plan would support the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), a monthly event led by the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Williams Kumuyi.

According to him, The church plans to celebrate those who have been converted on March 24, 2025, when the results of this outreach will be presented.

“‘Operation Save A Soul’ is a plan designed to make every believer pray, reach out to sinners, and bring them into the church in February and March 2025,” said Pastor Hassan.

He also announced that there will be a special day on Sunday, March 23, 2025, where members will bring their newly converted souls to celebrate the success of the initiative.

Hassan stressed the importance of focusing on the youth, urging church leaders to involve young people in key roles within the church.

He also announced a new programme called ‘Youth Convocation,’ set for February 2025, to engage young members in spiritual growth.

In his sermon, Pastor Hassan encouraged the congregation to work together in unity and love, and to continue striving for higher spiritual goals.
