There are serious indications that all are now set for Faith Tabernacle Congregation of Nigeria, Owerri district for a historical send forth for Associate Professor Alabekee Chikwendu and his dear wife, Grace.
The church which seems to be in festive mood says the essence of the occasion is in appreciation of the celebrant’s 40 years of total dedication and meritorious services to God, the church and humanity since the celebrant came to Owerri in 1984.
The glorious occasion which comes up this Sunday at Owerri district headquarters of the church, 25 Old Okigwe Road Ama JK, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria will be graced by eminent personalities including men of God across the country.
The intellectual icon who’s an Associate Professor in History and International Studies at Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri told this reporter that, “this is to God’s glory for graciously remarkable 40 year stay, service and worship ( 1984 — 2024 ).
“By the special grace of God. I came into Owerri from my country home Okpala , 40 years ago. Today, I am returning home to Okpala alive, healthy, fully accomplished and while the ovation is loudest”
Alabekee who’s also the Traditional Prime Minister, TPM of Okpala ancient kingdom autonomous community in Ngor Okpala Council Area of Imo State appeal to all his relations, friends, associates and well-wishers to honour him at the occasion.
He expressed gratitude to God for His infinite mercies and grace upon his life and family, despite all the challenges they passed through in life advancement, that God manifested His abundant love upon them as conquerors.
