Lawmaker honored with for peacebuilding, youth dev’t too

A delegation from the Global Alliance for Peace and Unity (GAPU) paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in the House of Representatives. The visit recognized his legislative impact and explored opportunities for collaboration on national unity.

The GAPU delegation commended Hon. Obika’s leadership and transformative legislative agenda, highlighting his efforts in advancing peace, youth development, and equitable representation. He was presented with a Certificate of Commendation as an Icon of Peace and Youth Development, alongside a symbolic Medal for Leadership Excellence.

GAPU also invited Hon. Obika to headline their National Unity Summit in July 2025, where he will be formally honored again for his contributions to peacebuilding and youth empowerment.

The lawmaker expressed gratitude for the recognition, reaffirming his commitment to serving the constituents of AMAC/Bwari with integrity. He emphasized his dedication to promoting unity, equality, and development for all.

The GAPU delegation comprised notable leaders and representatives from across Nigeria, including prominent figures from Nasarawa, Kano, Kaduna, Taraba, Gombe, Plateau States, and the FCT.

The visit highlighted GAPU’s mission to amplify grassroots peace initiatives and collaborate with leaders driving transformative change.
