Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, stormed the global stage at the Goalkeepers 2030 event of the Gates Foundation, held on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York, with new deals.
At the high-powered gathering, Sani pushed Kaduna’s health reforms while striking key partnerships with Mr. Bill Gates, Co-Chair of the Gates Foundation, and Spain’s Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, on ending child mortality by 2030.
He stressed that Kaduna’s focus on reducing child and maternal deaths through stronger primary healthcare mirrors the global agenda to make child mortality history.
“Partnerships like this strengthen our resolve to build a prosperous Kaduna where no community is left behind,” the governor declared.
The event also spotlighted leaders worldwide who are championing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With this engagement, Kaduna has further planted its flag on the map of global development action.
