The Rector of Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, Dr. Amos Danlami Agbu, has commended Governor Agbu Kefas for what he described as a remarkable performance during his three years in office.
Speaking in an interview with our correspondent in Jalingo on Friday, Dr. Agbu said the governor’s achievements in education, security, agriculture, youth empowerment and peacebuilding have had a positive impact on the state.
He noted that the administration’s commitment to improving the education sector and supporting various government institutions reflects its dedication to the development of Taraba State.
The rector also praised Governor Kefas for the payment of pensions and gratuities to retired civil servants, saying the gesture has brought relief and improved the welfare of many senior citizens across the state.
According to him, the governor’s prompt interventions in critical sectors have restored hope and confidence among residents. He also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom and good health for the governor to enable him achieve his development goals for the state.
Dr. Agbu further stated that Governor Kefas’ policies on education, civil service reforms, security, infrastructure and agriculture have distinguished his administration.
“ No doubt, we are all living witnesses that before assumption of governor Kefas, insecurity in the state was at a serious stage, payment of teachers and general hardship among civil servants was completely at high pick and thank God the story has now remain history”, Dr. Amos Agbu stated.
The rector expressed optimism that the governor’s third anniversary in office reflects the progress made so far, adding that despite the challenges inherited from previous administrations, Governor Kefas remains committed to transforming Taraba State into one that every citizen would be proud to call home. He maintained that the administration’s development agenda is steadily redefining the state’s future.
