Mr. Livinus Chibuike Victor, a Nigerian journalist, is set a new Guinness World Record in the next 75 hours for the longest interview marathon.
Chibuike, who has already started the interview sessions at Tangier Hotel, Ekukinam Street, Utako, Abuja, which he got on self-sponsorship, is expected to complete 75 hours of non-stop marathon interviews.
The interviews primarily aime to advocate press freedom, good governance and responsible governance.
Already, he has interviewed over 150 persons diverse educational, technical and business backgrounds under the theme “Nigeria Our Strength,” aiming to highlight the power of journalism and inspire support for journalists in the country.
This particular event, which was held at the Harrow Park Golf Club, surpassed the previous Guiness Record of 55 hours and 24 seconds.
At the current Abuja marathon interviews, Chibuike, an editorial staff member of l Arabella Star Magazine, who kick-started the current marathon at 12:40 pm, appears very healthy and has already attracted several personalities who had queued to be interviewed at the hall.
As at press time, the journalist has interviewed ten personalities, and is billed to interview the Editor, The AUTHORITY Newspapers, Chief (Barr.) Malachy Uzendu, as the fourth interviewee.
The hall where Chibuike is conducting the interview have been packed full, with the police and other security agencies providing adequate.
