Loeries taps Uduak Akpan for creative excellence

Once again, Nigerian creative powerhouse, Uduakabasi “Uddy” Akpan, has been appointed as a judge at the Loeries Awards, which is Africa and the Middle East’s biggest celebration of creativity in brand communication.

Uduak, currently the Creative Director at Flow Universal Solution, is no stranger to the Loeries stage. This marks the third consecutive year he has been selected to join the elite panel of jurors – a recognition of his deep expertise and his influence in shaping the future of African advertising.

With a career spanning top agencies such as X3M Ideas, Anakle and Yellow Brick Road, Uduak has worked on high-impact campaigns for global and local brands, including MTN, Etisalat, Spotify, NBA Nigeria, Friesland Campina and Access Bank. His creative leadership cuts across digital strategy, brand storytelling and innovative campaign direction.

Speaking on the appointment, Uduak described judging at the Loeries as “an incredibly rewarding experience,” adding that he was looked forward to continuing his contributions to the evolution of African creativity.

Beyond his professional achievements, Uduak is known for his adventurous spirit as a sports bike enthusiast – a personality trait that mirrors his bold, fast-paced approach to creativity.

His latest Loeries appointment further cements Nigeria’s place on the global creative map, inspiring the next generation of African storytellers to push boundaries and compete on the world stage.
