A new citizens-driven political support group, Progressive Frontiers (PF), has officially launched in Abuja with a mission to strengthen democratic governance and deepen civic participation across Nigeria.
Speaking at the launch ceremony held at Barcelona Hotel, Wuse II, the National Convener, Hon. Oluwayemisi Oshaloto, described the group as “a movement of purpose” committed to promoting accountability, patriotism, and nation-building.
She said the initiative would serve as a bridge between government and citizens by amplifying the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration while fostering civic engagement and public enlightenment.
“We are here to build a Nigeria where citizens do not just observe governance but actively shape it,” Oshaloto said.
The convener added that Progressive Frontiers would engage communities through education, advocacy, and grassroots programs designed to promote transparency and inclusiveness.
The event drew civil society leaders, youth representatives, and members of the media who hailed the initiative as a timely step toward strengthening democratic values and citizen participation in governance.
