QNET, a leading direct selling and lifestyle company, has reaffirmed its dedication to promoting ethical entrepreneurship and strengthening collaboration with the media to reshape perceptions of the direct selling industry in Nigeria.
This commitment was restated during the company’s latest engagement, “Beyond VCON: Media Insights from VCON 2025,” a virtual dialogue held via Zoom on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
The session brought together journalists, editors, and media executives who attended QNET’s flagship V-Convention (VCON) in Penang, Malaysia, which hosted more than 10,000 entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders from over 50 countries.
Opening the dialogue, Mr. Ayokunmi Solesi, QNET’s Country Manager for Nigeria, described VCON as “a celebration of entrepreneurship, innovation, and purpose.” He emphasized that QNET’s operations in Nigeria are guided by three pillars — empowerment, community, and innovation.
“QNET isn’t just about selling products; it’s about building responsibly and helping others rise,” Solesi said.
Adeyemi Adepetu, Deputy Business Editor and ICT Editor at The Guardian Newspaper, described the Malaysian convention as an “immersive and inspiring experience.”
“From the airport reception to the global networking sessions, it was a top-notch experience,” he said. “QNET’s hospitality and its commitment to empowering communities were evident everywhere.”
Juliet Umeh, Assistant High-Tech Editor at Vanguard Newspaper, called the convention “an unforgettable journey of purpose and possibility.”
“It wasn’t just about covering a business event; it was an experience that celebrated community, innovation, and resilience,” she said. “I saw firsthand how QNET’s ‘Raise Yourself to Help Mankind (RYTHM)’ philosophy is lived out through its empowerment and wellness initiatives.”
Sulaiman Aledeh, journalist and media executive, highlighted the human-centered essence of QNET’s business model. “At VCON, I saw that QNET is not just a company; it’s a movement to elevate lives,” he said. “Every product and story connects to helping people live better.”
The session ended with a collective call for greater collaboration between the media and QNET to promote transparency, ethical entrepreneurship, and a deeper understanding of the direct selling industry across Africa.
