Benue State gets new FRSC Sector Commander

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially announced the deployment and assumption of duty of CC KEHINDE S DAHUNSI as the new Sector Commander, RS4.2 Benue Sector Command.

A statement by the Benue State Command’s spokesperson, SRC Ngozi Grace Ahula said, the new Commander took over from CC Steve O Ayodele.

“CC KS Dahunsi took over from CC Steve O Ayodele who has retired in accordance with the Corps’ administrative postings. The handing and taking-over ceremony according to the statement, was on Monday at the the Sector Command Headquarters, Makurdi.

The new Sector Commander expressed appreciation to the Corps Marshal for the confidence reposed in him and pledged commitment to improving road safety activities, operational efficiency, stakeholder collaboration, and public enlightenment in the State.

“I will ensure continuous sensitization on safer road use, enforcement of traffic regulations, and reduction of road traffic crashes across Benue State”, CC Dahunsi enthused.

The outgoing Sector Commander, in his remarks, appreciated the cooperation he enjoyed from officers, Special Marshals, stakeholders, and the general public throughout his tenure, urging them to extend the same support to his successor.

The Federal Road Safety Corps therefore calls on the public, transport unions, sister security agencies, media organizations, and relevant stakeholders to support the new Sector Commander in the pursuit of safer road practices and enhanced service delivery.
