Osbourne, son of the Minister of Works, David Umahi, on Friday picked the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship nomination and expression of interest form for Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The minister’s first son was accompanied to the party’s state secretariat in Abakaliki by a crowd of supporters.
Members of the party’s state executive council led by the chairman, Stanley Okoro-Emegha, received Osbourne and his team.
The chairman hailed the younger Umahi, describing him as an intelligent and capable young politician and businessman with the capacity to lead the council to greater heights.
The council chairmanship aspirant thanked the people of Ohaozara for nudging him to contest for the position, and promised not to disappoint the confidence they have reposed in him.
