Wike elevates Esu Kwali to first -class monarch

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has elevated the traditional stool of Esu Kwali from a second -class to a first class status.

Wike made the announcement during a thank you visit to Kwali Area Council on Monday.

He also promised to construct a befitting palace for the traditional ruler, Luka Ayedo Nizassan to match his new status.

The Minister commended the people of Kwali for fulfilling their promise to support the President Tinubu, especially the monarch’s steadfast support for the President’s administration.

He noted that the administration’s responsiveness is a direct result of the community’s loyalty and the effective advocacy of its local leadership.

Wike reechoed the administration’s commitment to keeping to its word, reiterating his personal mantra: “Agreement is agreement.”

He assured residents that all promised road projects are now to be considered “done,” signaling an imminent mobilization of contractors to the area.

Wike said, “Your outgoing chairman and the chairman-elect are people whom we will always listen to because they have the interests of the people of Kwali at heart,”

“Today, by the grace of God, you have fulfilled the promise you made to Mr. President Bola Tinubu, and we will also fulfill the promise we have made to you”

Wike reminded the people that Tinubu remains committed to providing “necessary support” to the council, saying more good things are underway for Kwali people.
