The aspiration of Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu, PhD, to represent the people of Ogbaru Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly received a major boost on Wednesday as youths and women endorsed his candidacy.

Hon Arinzechukwu Awogu is the standard bearer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027 House of Representatives election.

Youths from major political parties, who gathered at Umu-daike Village, Atani, Ogbaru LGA, said it was time to chart a new course for the area.

They resolved that the APC standard bearer for the January 16, 2027 National Assembly election, Hon. Awogu, remains the reliable voice they can trust.

“Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, PhD, is our choice candidate for the upcoming general election because he is eminently qualified for the job, loved by people at the grassroots, and very accessible,” the youths declared.

“The youths have resolved to put political party affiliation aside for now and ensure that the APC flag bearer emerges victorious. We know him. He has the capacity to bring about positive change in Ogbaru Federal Constituency.”

Hon. Tochukwu Ike asserted, “Hon. Awogu distinguished himself as the former Chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area. It is on record that he initiated many developmental projects and won several awards and laurels. His remarkable achievements remain unmatched.”

The youthful leader insisted that the people of Ogbaru Federal Constituency cannot afford to gamble again with their choice of representative in the House of Representatives come 2027, noting that Hon. Awogu is the best choice.

Mrs. Josephine Chukwuma, while speaking at the occasion, said Hon. Awogu is not just the choice of the youths but also of women and all lovers of good governance, progress, and development in Ogbaru Federal Constituency.

“Today’s meeting is a clear testament to the outstanding qualities and general acceptance of Hon. Awogu by the people of this constituency. We will go home and spread the good news of our preferred candidate to all nooks and crannies of Ogbaru at the appropriate time,” Mrs. Chukwuma declared.
