Anambra police command steps up inclusive operation strategy, receives Nigeria Forest Security Service

The Anambra State Police Command has received the leadership of the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS), Anambra State Command, on a courtesy visit at the Command Headquarters, Awka.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the command, Tochukwu Ikenga (SP) revealed this in a press statement.

Ikenga said that the visit forms part of the Command’s sustained efforts to strengthen its all-inclusive operational strategy by fostering collaboration with critical security stakeholders in enhancing safety and security across Anambra State.

“The Command in its remarks, through the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations DCP Ibrahim Ezekiel welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to sustain proactive policing and leverage on strategic partnerships to consolidate the gains already recorded in the fight against crime and criminality in the State.

“He further urged the Nigeria Forest Security Service to continue to support lawful security operations by providing credible and timely information that would aid crime prevention and detection.

“The leader of the delegation Mazi Destiny Jonas appreciated the Commissioner of Police for the warm reception and commended the Command’s proactive approach to security. He assured the Command of the readiness of the Nigeria Forest Security Service to partner with the Police and other security agencies in promoting peace, safety, and security in Anambra State” the PPRO revealed.

He said that the visit concluded with a renewed commitment by both parties to deepen cooperation, strengthen operational coordination, and sustain stakeholder engagement in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police for a safer and more secure Nigeria.
