The Igwe-elect of Amankanu-Ohofia -Oduma autonomous community in Aninri local government area of Enugu state, High Chief Shadrach Ekpete, has congratulated Hon.Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku,on his re-election as Chairman of Aninri local government area.
Hon. Nwanjoku is among the 17 serving local government chairmen in Enugu state, whom the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (( ENSIEC) re-certified their re- election and were given certificate of returns to continue in office for another term, aftermath of Enugu State Council election, held on Saturday, September 26,2026.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Enugu, Igwe Shadrach Ekpete described Hon Nwanjoku’s re-election as a renewed mandate, reward for excellence and commitment to do more
He stated : “The renewed mandate is a call for you to continue doing the good works you started in our various communities.
“We are happy for your successful and impactful first tenure
“May this mandate usher in greater unity, meaningful development and improved opportunities for our communities.”
High Chief Ekpete extended his warm greetings to the Aninri Local Governnent Deputy Chairnan, Hon. Mrs Mary Oluchi Nwaru and the ten Councillors,all whom were re elected along with Hon.Ugoh Nwanjoku.He commended the team work between the executive and legislative arm of government in Aninri local government area, stating it endeared the enabling environment which facilitated developmental strides of Hon Nwanjoku led administration and wished all a successful second term in office.
“On behalf of my family, the good people of Amankanu.Ohofia Oduma autonomous Community, I hereby humbly re -instate that I am overwhelmed with your re -election. Congratulations a million times,” High Chief Ekpete stated.
