Governor Uba Sani, Coordinating Governor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) North West Zone, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises to the Nigerian people.
Speaking at the end of the Inaugural APC North West Stakeholders Meeting, which he chaired, Governor Sani noted that the President’s development agenda has positively impacted the North West Zone, especially in human capital development, agriculture, education, poverty alleviation, and infrastructure development.
The stakeholders commended the President for his commitment to completing key projects in the North West Zone, including highway and rail projects, which have the potential to boost economic activities, mitigate poverty, enhance security, and foster understanding and friendship among Nigerians.
Governor Sani expressed appreciation for the President’s support and assistance to the North West, and called for continued support for his administration as he tackles the enormous challenges facing the nation.
The meeting also commended security agencies for their efforts in maintaining security in the zone and urged members of the National Assembly to expedite the passage of the North West Development Commission Bill.
Governor Sani emphasized the need for stakeholders to put in more effort to enhance the political fortunes of the zone, urging them to continue supporting the government at all levels.
The meeting was a significant step towards uniting stakeholders in the North West Zone behind President Tinubu’s development agenda and security efforts, and charting a pathway for a more formidable zonal structure that will ensure victory for the APC in future elections.
Prominent personalities who attended the meeting included the National Chairman of APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, and Governors from the North West Zone, among others.
