Deenfield International Academy celebrates second graduation ceremony in grand style

Deenfield International Academy marked a significant milestone with its second graduation ceremony, held over the weekend in Abuja.

The event saw 46 students graduating across various educational levels, from kindergarten to primary and primary to secondary.

Binta Ibrahim, the Proprietress of Deenfield International Academy, expressed immense pride and joy in her students’ achievements.

She reflected on the school’s humble beginnings and its progress, highlighting the seamless integration of Islamic education within the curriculum. “We are grateful to Almighty Allah. We have been able to achieve this blend, which is rare,” she noted.

Ibrahim revealed future plans for the academy, including the establishment of a secondary school and eventually a university, responding to parents’ demands for higher education within the institution.

The event was also an opportunity to recognize the support of parents. “They are pleased with their children’s education, and we are glad to have them as part of our community,” Ibrahim said.

Addressing challenges, Ibrahim mentioned the difficulties in integrating students from diverse educational backgrounds. However, she credited the academy’s capable staff and their dedication to instilling strong principles in students from a young age for overcoming these challenges.

Sulaiman Yaro, Chairman of the Parents-Teachers Association, congratulated the graduates and emphasized the importance of seeking knowledge in Islam. He encouraged the students to stay true to themselves, follow their passions, and never stop learning. “Embrace learning, set goals, build relationships, stay organized, and practice self-care,” he advised.

Yaro also praised the academy’s management for their dedication and commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching educational environment.

Aminu Tukur, a proud parent, expressed his joy as his daughter graduated from primary school.

He commended the academy’s quality of education, describing it as top-notch and preparing his daughter well for the future.

Tukur encouraged other parents to consider enrolling their children in the academy, highlighting its effective combination of Islamic and conventional education.

The best graduating student, Hanifa Tukur, expressed her happiness and pride in graduating from primary school. She shared her aspiration to become a surgeon and encouraged her peers to work hard and stay dedicated.

The ceremony, attended by esteemed guests, staff, parents, and graduating students, was a testament to Deenfield International Academy’s achievements and its bright future.
