Governor Ododo mourns Akwa Ibom first lady

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the government and citizens of Akwa Ibom State following the passing of Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, the wife of the Governor, who died on Thursday at the age of 57 after a brief illness.

In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah, Governor Ododo conveyed his shock at the loss of the first lady, emphasizing her significant contributions in supporting Governor Umo Eno in steering the state over the past year.

Governor Ododo described Mrs. Umo Eno as a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, whose various initiatives positively impacted numerous women and vulnerable individuals in Akwa Ibom.

He extended prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul and offered condolences to her immediate family and the people of Akwa Ibom State during this difficult time of mourning.
