Iconic International Holdings has began another plan to redirect Africa’s growth through honouring of exceptional leaders, and innovators to spur them for more good work.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Chief Executive Officer of Iconic International Holdings, Tinotenda Chavundura, said the award slated for April, 2026, is targeting 100 Iconic personalities of the Year.
The statement explained that the Personalities serve as a powerful platform that recognises excellence, celebrates transformational leadership, and promotes innovation, unity, and sustainable development across Africa and beyond.
The event, according to the organisers, is expected to bring together distinguished guests, global leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries from across Africa for an evening of recognition, celebration, and inspiration.
Chavundura said the initiative has continued to reflect the organisation’s commitment to empowering individuals whose contributions drive meaningful change and progress within the society, and reaffirmed the organisation’s dedication to building a legacy of excellence and advancing global recognition of impactful leadership.
“The 100 Iconic Personalities of the Year Awards is more than a celebration — it is a movement that honors greatness, inspires future leaders, and strengthens our collective vision for Africa’s growth and global influence,” she said.
President/Founder of the Iconic International Holdings Group, Dr. Temisan Louis noted that this year’s edition, which would take place at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, would include a Business Summit, and the Dinner Award event to honor and celebrate 100 Iconic Personalities from diverse industries across Africa and the diaspora.
On his part, the Executive Global Vice President of Iconic International Holdings, Apphia Musavengana, stated that as the Africa’s most reputable recognition platform, the organisation would honor only thoroughly vetted and qualified individuals and organisations who have contributed immensely towards societal development and advancement over the years.
The Executive Director of the organisation, Malaika Lobengula, who also spoke on the upcoming event, said that the organisation has continued to set the standard for global recognition and leadership excellence, adding that Iconic International Holdings looks forward to welcoming partners, stakeholders, and honorees to this historic gathering.
