APC reopens membership electronic-registration

By Chesa Chesa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reopening of its Membership Electronic-Registration Exercise across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The exercise is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 31, 2026, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The party urged its stakeholders, supporters and members, including old and prospective members, to participate in the registration exercise, which will be conducted across all wards nationwide.

While existing members are expected to validate their membership, new and intending members have been encouraged to register and join the party.

The APC said registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

According to the party, the electronic-registration exercise is aimed at digitising its membership register and ensuring the integrity of membership records.

It added that the initiative would enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy and strengthen the party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
