Promasidor Nigeria, Manufacturers of Cowbell milk, etal and TPT media agency have praised Nigerian media for their professionalism and cooperation.
The accolades were released at a Get-together cum Appreciation Party in honour of the media at TPT Head Office in Magodo Phase 1, Lagos on Friday.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, TPT, Adetokunbo Modupe, the meeting was designed to see the people behind the reportage face to face “This is meant to be a dinner, to also see your faces as we start another year, you have been very supportive, and most times materials come to you online, in this digital age, a lot of activities happen, without physical contacts and we just felt that it was important to say thank you to you.”
The external Affairs Director, Promasidor Nigeria, Mr Andrew Enahoro, on his part praise the media this way “I would want to appreciate each and every one of you for coming, it is something, you invite somebody to an event, it takes a special person to hour that invitation, so for you been able to make it especially today when there is a lot of construction and traffic we want to appreciate you.
“Today is not a day for speeches, we are here to look each other in the face, to appreciate each and every one of you for every little thing you have done for the brand Promasidor and her product brands and also to make sure that before we leave here I really would want to see if I can meet each and every one of you personally.”
He disclosed that Promasidor’s Managing Director had plans to attend the Get-together but could not due to exigencies of his duties, “I know part of the program is that we are supposed to meet each other, introduce ourselves, the media House we represent, but be rest assured that I brought you warm felicitation from my managing director who ought to have been here, but due to other engagements could not make it here”
Enahoro also thanked TPT staff for their doggedness and professionalism “I appreciate TPT, they have been our media managers since 2011, and they have seen through three managing directors and they are still standing and that is not because there is anything that they are doing to make it happen, it is just that they are very professional in their duties. I publicly here want to appreciate them so that you would help tell them that they are doing fantastically good.
“I am praying that you guys see the sincerity in my face, and my voice representing the company, I am telling you, thank you very much for all that you have done thus far,” Enahoro said.
