AOAF visits Chika community, empowers 40 aged persons to celebrate international charity day

International Charity day is annually observed every 5th of September. It was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 to provide a common platform for charity activities around the world for individuals, philanthropists and volunteer organizations.

The international charity day promotes the rights of the marginalized and underprivileged to spread the message of humanity in conflict situations.

The Anneozeng Ogozi Aid Foundation (AOAF), visited the Chika Community located in the federal Capital Territory Abuja and shared hygiene packs and wrappers to 40 elderly persons living under undeserved conditions.

The organization urged the aged persons not to relent on taking good care of themselves and their personal belongings especially during the pandemic.

The CEO of the foundation, Amb. Mrs Anneozeng Ogozi Peters pleaded with the government to reach out to aged people in such communities and to support AOAF in their work to provide hope to the hopeless.
