The Executive Chairman Abuja Municipal Area Council, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido has fecilitated with the Muslim Ummah in the Council on the occasion of 2021 Eid-el-Fitr celebration marking the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement issued by the Head information unit, Mrs Patience Olaloye, Candido prays that the lessons learnt during this spiritual exercise will guide all Muslims in their day to day activities for the good of our dear country Nigeria.
The chairman while wishing the Muslims happy Sallah, admonishes them to emulate the examplary teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) which is love, tolerance and peaceful co-existence among other people, encouraging them to continue to pray for the peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.
However, Candido enjoins all residents of the Council not to lay down their guard on COVID-19 protocols and also calls on everyone to be cautious in the conduct of their lawful businesses and report any strange and suspicious movement within their vicinity.
