*Condoles Dr. Mike Uyi over the death of his sister, Pastor Rose Uyi
Global Peace Movement International UK has described the chairman/ CEO of Air Peace Nigeria a patriotic Nigerian who will stop at nothing to ensure peace and unity in the land.
This was contained in a statement signed by the media officer of Global Peace Movement international UK, Augustine Aminu KSM on Wednesday in Abuja.
The statement says Onyema is a man who focuses on growing his business but keeping the core of our humanity tied to the core values of his business.
According to the statement, there is no better time to seek for peace and unity than now; stressing that we must not lose hope in our country as our diversity is our greatest strength.
In a viral video, the chairman/CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema was seen at 2am Nigerian time preaching peace and unity to the Super Eagles of Nigeria on board Air Peace for a foot ball match.
In the video, Allen told the Eagles that they are going out there not just to win a match but to win souls, to encourage Nigerians to be together.
According to Onyema, the diversity we have is the best thing that can ever happen to this nation.
He said “Let us make it work; let us stop engaging in blame games. Let us stop engaging in the stigmatisation of ethnicities, let us work as Nigerians,” he told the team.
The statement said GPMI like Allen Onyema believes that for the absolute peace and stability of this country, we as a country must at all times emphasise on those attributes, which bind us together as one indivisible entity rather than those things which inevitably tear us apart, because we have no other country we can call our own other than Nigeria.
The media officer also condoles with the President General, Global Peace Movement International UK, Dr Mike Uyi and his entire family over the passing of their sister, Pastor Rose Uyi last weekend in Benin city, Nigeria.
“The GPMI family is grieved by this sad event, particularly given Pastor Rose’s role as a devout Christian, who lived as a source of inspiration and nurturing for younger generation of leaders”.
”We pray that the Almighty grants her eternal rest and gives the family the fortitude to bear this significant loss.”
