Gov Al-Makura has done well, says Buhari

Governor Tanko Umar Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has received a favourable rating from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari, who was on a daya��s working visit to Nasarawa State on Tuesday, said that the governor had kept faith with the All Progressives Congress (APC) change mantra.
The Nigerian leader, who could not hide his views on the infrastructure provided by the Al-Makura, said that there was no doubt that the change which the people of Nasarawa had long yearned for had come under the APC led administration.
The President, who commissioned several projects, gave marching order to security agencies to arrest anyone in possession of illegal weapons.
He appealed to Nigerians to be peaceful and not give room to criminals to destabilise the country.
Speaking on the recurring farmers/ herdersa�� clashes, the President warned that his administration would no longer tolerate persons who for a�?no reason except absolute mischief want to distract the government from carrying out its people-oriented programmes.a�?
Buhari also warned against reprisal attacks, saying that the government is working to ensure that peace return to all the states in the federation.
He condoled with all the communities and families who were affected by the crisis and promised that more security presence and operation would be intensified across the regions.
He said that the efforts of the Al-Makura administration to build a school for persons with disability was commendable and would be supported by the government.
Governor Al-Makura said that the visit of the president to commission projects executed by his administration is one of the visits that is rare in the period under which the country is now.
