PMB Solidarity Movement emerges in Enugu

A new socio political pressure tasked with the responsibility of echoing the good works of the present administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari to all nooks and cranny of the state,as part of his legacy will also be established in the 17 local governments of the state. The group known as ‘PMB Solidarhity Movement’ was at the weekend inaugurated in Enugu,the state capital.

The pioneer state deputy chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC),Comrade Adolphus Ude ermerged as the Converner/Coordinator of the movement in Enugu state. Hon Robert Ngwu was chosen as it’s State Secretaty. Barr Maximus Ugwuoke emrrged as the Enugu state deputy Convener, Lolo Queen Nwankwo as woman leader and Ambassador Ginika Tor Williams, as Diaspora Convener. While Engr Ezeudo Itanyi and Hon Tony Ibekwe were inaugurated as leaders of the movement in Enugu West and Enugu Both senatorial districts of the state.

In his brief remarks before the inauguration, the South East Convener of the Movement Chief Abraham Iseh told the new leaders that their nomination were based on commendation of their sterling leadership qualities in various sectors of life,stating the task before them is enormous as many of the good works of President Buhari in this part of the country are most often interpreted in the negative perspective.

He tasked them to work hard to reverse the trend at both the local government and ward levels,stating the essence is to ensure that the legacies of President Buhari is sustained in this part of the country,even when he lives office in ,2023.

Abraham Iseh who was represented by his deputy,Mr Chukwudi Njelite mentioned some of the legacies of President Buhari to Enugu state via the entire Igbo nation to include the on going standardization of Akanu Ibiam international airport, the reconstruction of Enugu to Port Harcourt express road and appointment of illistrous sons and daughter of the state into his cabinet.

He further mentioned the anti corruption policy of President Buhari led federal government as a land mark achievement legacy which has restored the image of the country before international community and stabilized the Naira.

He tasked Comrade A C.Ude and members of his executive to work hard to sell these legacies to the grassroots in the state as such to garner more grass root support for him with expectation that his legacies will outlive him, with his successor towing same direction.

Comrade Ude who was the 2019 PMB ,Youth Coordinator in Enugu state express optimism that they would live up to expectations,stating he has the obligatory duties to enlighten Enugu state people to que behind President Muhammadu Buhari, for the benefit of Enugu people. Engr Ezudo Itanyi also spoke in same direction in his vote of thanks.

Other members of the Enugu state chapter of PMB Solidarity Movement include Barr Obed Eneh,who was inaugurated as assistant legal adviser/diaspora co convener,Hon Chinedu Ngwu,Coordinator, Youth wing,among others.

A former governorship candidate in Enugu in 2003,Rv Dr Oscar Egwuonwu was made the patron of the movement.
