The 31st Enugu International trade fair with the theme ‘Advancing the growth of SME’s through corporate governance for rapid economic development is scheduled to hold from 13th to 23rd, in Enugu, the President of Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA),Sir Emeka Nwandu, has disclosed.
Nwandu told journalists in Enugu yesterday that the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Hon. Manam Katagum, is expected to declare the fair open while Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state will be the chief host.
The ECCIMA President said that arrangements are already being put in place for successful hosting of the fair, stating the chamber have been receiving streams of interest from corporate organizations, parastatals and institutions who want to participate. In addition, ECCIMA has created a platform for online registration, which entails interesting participants visiting ECCIMA websites to secure spaces after paying online.
He stated, “We are particularly happy that we have been receiving streams of interest from corporate organizations, parastatals and institutions declaring interest to participate in the 31st Enugu International Trade Fair. A more robust online registration platform with immediate online space allocation for participants have been established. We are deepening the use of social media as a marketing mix to reinforce our conventional media publicity and outreach in promoting the fair”.
