Kyari’s Death A Wake-up – Ex-Police Boss

The unfortunate death of Mallam Abba Kyari is a warning and wake up call on the Nigerian Government and leaders to improve health care system in the country, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav, erstwhile Commissioner of Police Lagos State has said.

Tsav, who disclosed this in statement, signed under his hand explained that the demise of the former Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari will those vested with leadership positions to improve the country’s health institutions through provision of modern facilities including qualified Medical Staff.

“The death of Mallam Abba Kyari is sad and tragic. This unfortunate incident just confirms our inadequacy in our Health Care Delivery system.

“Perhaps if we had well equipped hospitals with modern facilities, the illness should have been efficiently managed. Unfortunately foreign Hospitals which our leaders often patronise are now no-go-places.

“The unfortunate death of Mallam Abba Kyari is a warning and wake up call on our Government and Leaders to improve our Hospitals with modern equipment and facilities including qualified Medical Staff. For now, we have not started.

“May God grant the late Abba Kyari eternal rest Ameen.

“My sincere condolences to Mr President, his Government and the family of the deceased. May God grant all the fortitude to bear the loss Ameen,” the erstwhile Police boss said.

The former Chief of Staff died after contracting the novel Covid-19 and has since been burried.
