Menace of bad roads: Arthur Eze reconstructs road of a section of Abakpa Nike.

Though awaiting official commissioning by the requisite authorities, the residents, parents,pupils and worshippers at St Cyprain’s Cathedral(Anglican Communion) who usually drive or trek through Atani street/Housing Estate school, Abakpa Nike Enugu. are now heaving a sigh of relief from the ugly menace the road linking their establishments to the main Abakpa Nike tarmac, constitutes to them.

The  ugly state of the road due to neglect  and abandonment has been a pain on the neck of both the church, the residents,Teachers and pupils of Housing Estate primary school Abakpa Nike.Enugu. But Chief Engr Arthur Eze, the Chairman of Oranto Oil ltd, in his benevolence and show of concern to humanity,has reconstructed the road, dualising it to a double lane.

Both the Anglican Bishop of  Nike Diocese, Rv Dr Onyia, the Teachers at Abakpa Housing Estate primary school, traders who have shops within the environment, has one bitter experience or another to share on the menace of the road.

Checks revealed that Engr Arthur Ezeh was moved to volunteer to take up the reconstruction of the about one kilometer road after attending the synod of Nike Diocese(Anglican Communion) held at St Cyprain’s Cathedral and vowed to reconstruct the road amidst his other donations.

The reconstruction and dualisation of the church/Abakpa Housing Estate road by Engr Arthur Eze is obviously another promise to  humanity and a vow to God by Chief Arthur Eze fufilled.

In a chat with some of the residents of Abakpa Nike  Who usually ply the road, they confined that it was hell using the road to join the major tarmac.

Hon Emeka  Agbalaka said the ugly state of the road constituted death traps to motorists and exposed  commuters to death traps.

He expressed gratitude to

Engr, Arthur Eze, for coming to the  rescue of that section of Abakpa Nike residents.

Barrister Val Ikpa, the Igwe elect of the proposed Abakpa Nike autonomous Community, was full of gratitudes to Prince Arthur Eze. He disclosed that the road also serves as an outlet for  village settlements adjoining the  Urban metropolis and thanked Chief Arthur Eze for his compassion.

Barr Ikpa who is popularly  known  as (Eze Abakpa) further thanked Chief Arthur Eze for living up to expectations to his promise of drilling and siting a Water Borehole within the cantonment of 82 division of Nigerian Army.

He pleaded with Prince Arthur Ezeh to also live up to his promise of reconstructing Abakpa Nike market to a modern standard.
