By Myke Uzendu

Meanwhile media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has triggered a campaign to raise the N5 million fine for radio station.

Omokri, who reacted to the fine via his Twitter handle tweeted, “The NBC has fined @NigerianinfoFM ₦5 million for broadcasting the Obadiah Mailafia interview. I‘m thinking of helping raise the ₦5 million, so we can frustrate General @MBuhari’s plan to end free speech. RETWEET if you think it is a good idea!”.

Dr. Mailafia has been in the storm after he revealed that a repentant Boko Haram member informed him that a northern state governor is a commander in Boko Haram.

The ex Director at the Central Bank further disclosed that Boko Haram used the lock down period to move ammunitions to the south and have taken control of all the forests in the south. He also said that the sect will start civil war by 2022.

The former Presidential candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) was later invited by men of the Department of State Security (DSS) in its Jos office but was later released after about six hours of grilling.
