Buhari’s support groups admit country’s security challenge not satisfactory

Forum of Buhari Support Groups (FOBSG) in Abuja admitted that the current state of security in the country is less than satisfactory even as it indicated there is a practical demonstration by the government to address the challenge.

The National Chairman of the group Dr. Abiso Kabir said why they do not intend to give excuses for the unfortunate security challenges bedevilling the nation, there are indications that some of it are being contrived and fuelled by bad belly politics of those who don’t wish the country and its people well

“As support groups for this administration, we are of the firm conviction that these are temporary setbacks,  and  trying periods for our nation,   and we shall overcome.

“In the light of this, we would like to urge the media to exercise more discretion in the reportage of criminal elements, who tend to enjoy and revel in the publicity they are getting almost ex-gracia from the media.

“We must all remember that we need to first of all have our country, before we can discuss our problems as a people.

He claimed that the current travails bedeviling our country, cannot be blamed entirely on present administration as they are accumulation of past misgovernment that is now hunting us in the face.

He said rather than the blame game, what is needed at the moment is for all hand to be on the deck in collaboration with the present Administration as it continues to search for enduring solutions to our problems.
