You Have Scored Goals In Crime-Fighting, Ahmed Musa Tells CP Dikko

…as two police officers bags award

Supper Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, has described Kano state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, as a goal-scorer in terms of fighting crime and criminal activities.


Ahmed Musa who is currently on a temporary contract with his former home-based team, Kano Pillars Football Club, spoke at the Bompai headquarters of Kano state Police Command, when the management of the club paid CP Dikko a courtesy call at his office.


The AUTHORITY reports that the Management of Kano Pillars Football Club (Masu Gida) paid a courtesy call on CP Dikko, during which the Chairman of the Club, Alhaji Surajo Shu’aibu Yahaya, stated that, they visited the Command to promote the already existing relationship between the Police and the Club.


 He noted that security is everybody’s business, while appreciating the Police for providing adequate security coverage during matches and other activities of the Club.


However, Ahmed Musa, the Nigeria Super Eagles Captian, in his remarks, stated that, “no amount of words can express our gratitude to the Police in Kano, because they are always there for the members of the public.”


According to him, “the Police is a good friend; and ACP Shu’aibu Bello, the Squadron Commander, 9 PMF Kano is a clear example.”


He further stated that, with the achievements recorded so far by the Command, “no doubt, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi is also a goal scorer.”


 In his response, CP Dikko, popularly known in Kano as [Nagari-Nakowa,  expressed his appreciation for the visit, stating that, “the Police are always there for the public. We will continue to partner with you both formally and informally to ensure safer and even more secured Kano State.”


Meanwhile,  on May 20, 2021, AIT Signature Show presented Corruptiontori Icon Award to two Police Officers in Kano. 


 Inspector Garba Saleh Rabo attached to the Department of Operations who rejected bribe, to tune of  the sum of N1,000,000.00, and  Sergeant Kabiru Isah attached to the Motor Traffic Division (MTD) who returned the sum N1,294,200.00, found at an accident scene were honoured by the anti-corruption NGO for making the police and the nation proud.


 Also, Jamilu Buhari of Consumer Pretection Council Kano, was presented with the same award alongside the Police officers.
